Bio

Sylvain Denis is a fine art and commercial photographer based in Fort Lauderdale with over 30 years of experience. He began his career creating fine art photography that has been exhibited in multiple galleries, while building a robust commercial practice serving clients across the United States and Europe.

His commercial assignments span a wide range—from high-volume portrait sessions (including 140 portraits photographed in a single day for AT&T) to product photography for businesses and environmental portraits of business owners photographed in their own workplaces and professional settings. He has also produced editorial high-fashion work for top designer Loris Diran of Versace, in addition to creating imagery for advertising, promotional, and editorial use with clients such as Timemagazine, Hachette Book Group, James Patterson, and others. His photographs have appeared in magazines and on book covers both nationally and internationally.

Sylvain studied at the International Center of Photography in New York City and continued his education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, mastering photography, lighting, graphic design, and Photoshop. In 2018, he returned to the University of the Arts as a guest speaker.
